C90 ShovelnosE

The iconic C90 Shovelnose is the second kit offered by Valley Locomotive Works. Based on the tried and true Kato NW2 Switcher chassis, the trucks and shell designed and 3d printed by Ride Trains for Valley Locomotive Works. The body faithfully represents the locomotives purchased by the White Pass and Yukon starting in 1960s.

Donor Loco for C-90 is a Kato EMD, NW2 phase 1 Switcher

NW2 frame with 3D printed truck body, bottom clip, side frames and axels/wheel/gear sets.

NW2 frame power picks added

3D printed pieces- C-90 shell, Frame body interface [FBI] truck body, bottom clip, side frames.
